Shunned by the Venerable Grand Master and barred from the 17th Chapter, a more rag-tailed collection of miscreants I have yet to witness. It seems they take little or no heed to any issued warnings, opting instead to flagrantly ignore the codes and practices that make our order so. Their sole purpose, it strikes me, is to undermine the coveted positions that have been bestowed upon them, and denigrate both their minds and bodies with which ever poison is most readily available.

Their insular ways worry me. When a group such as these behave in such a clandestine manner, intuition suggests that they have something to hide; if popular rumour is to be paid credence, they had more than passing involvement with the untimely demise of the Royal Arch of Enoch last autumn. I cannot impart fully the gravity of these claims, as I am sure you will understand.

We must make it our purpose to stop such wicked transgressors from finding a mouthpiece for their contemptuous songs. Should the proletariat ever get wind of our hidden supremacy there is no knowing where it may lead. I urge you to act swiftly. Use all your available sway to ensure that those responsible for the production of popular music may never hear their cursed racket and I on my part will make sure they have the breath stolen from their evil bodies.

Almost twenty years ago, three fresh faced Aries lads from the black country, all born in the same week in sunny 1976, formed The Lodge.

Inspired by a soulful mix 60s/70s Garage Rock, Psychedelia, Jazz and Funk their authenticity stood out from the UK’s indie landfill scene of the time.

However, life never goes to plan and a drug-fuelled party was to put an end to everything. A tragic misstep from a fifth-floor hotel window almost killed their guitarist Dom Keen and soon after, their singer John Hughes found himself sectioned with schizophrenia, destined to spend the next decade lost in the wilderness...

at long last, this accomplished debut gets it’s first ever release..
